Listed as CW CRB, Caracas Bay is a deep natural inlet about 8 km south-east of Willemstad rather than a working cargo port. Its former Shell oil terminal was dismantled in 1996, and the two sheltered Curaçao Ports Authority deep-water piers now mainly host ship inspections, underwater cleaning and minor hull or machinery repairs, helped by exceptionally clear water. There are no storage or bunker facilities; any cargo work depends on lighters and stevedores brought from Willemstad, and there is no scheduled container or customs service. Curaçao's container and general cargo move through Willemstad, while oil is handled at Bullen Bay.
