In 2025 the terminal is running at full storage capacity and preparing to load a VLCC with more than 2 million barrels, including Venezuelan crude. There is no container, break-bulk or conventional customs activity here — purely an energy transshipment point. Containerised cargo for Curaçao moves through Willemstad, with Caucedo in the Dominican Republic as a regional option.
