Chargeable weight formula, IATA rate structure (Min, N, Q, M), all surcharges (FSC, SSC, SCC, AMS) and CASS – fully explained with interactive calculator.

Chargeable Weight Formula (Air Freight Standard)
Chargeable Weight = max(Gross Weight, L×W×H / 6,000)
Dimensions in cm, weight in kg | Courier services: / 5,000
1 Package: 80 × 60 × 50 cm, 25 kg
Volumetric weight: 80 × 60 × 50 / 6,000 = 40 kg
Chargeable weight: max(25, 40) = 40 kg ← Billing
1 Pallet: 120 × 80 × 50 cm, 300 kg
Volumetric weight: 120 × 80 × 50 / 6,000 = 80 kg
Chargeable weight: max(300, 80) = 300 kg ← Billing
Plus FSC, SSC, handling and other surcharges. This calculator shows base rate calculation only.
