SF Airlines

SF Airlines is the cargo airline of China's SF Express group, legally incorporated as S.F. Airlines Co., Ltd. It is based at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, and its parent is S.F. Holding Co., Ltd., listed in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The company was founded in 2009 and started flight operations the same year. Operating model: SF Airlines is a pure freighter carrier operating its own all-cargo aircraft; it does not market belly capacity. According to the carrier, the fleet comprises 90 freighters: four Boeing 747-400, 25 Boeing 767-300, 43 Boeing 757-200 and 18 Boeing 737 of the 737-300, 737-400 and 737-800 series. The carrier publishes no reference date for these figures; they were taken from its official website on 10 September 2026. Industry reporting describes SF Airlines as the operator of the world's largest converted Boeing 767-300BCF fleet. The network is built around four hubs: Ezhou Huahu (EHU), Shenzhen (SZX), Hangzhou (HGH) and Beijing Capital (PEK). Ezhou Huahu is Asia's first dedicated cargo airport and serves as the group's central transfer facility. The carrier states more than 130 stations worldwide. Intercontinentally, SF Airlines links China with Liege, Budapest, Chicago O'Hare, New York JFK and Los Angeles; regionally with Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Taipei, Hong Kong, Dhaka, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Lahore, Islamabad and Abu Dhabi, among others. For forwarders: IATA designator O3, ICAO code CSS, AWB prefix 921. Shipment tracking runs through the carrier's own portal using the MAWB number in the format 921-XXXXXXX. Besides general cargo, SF Airlines carries dangerous goods, live animals, perishables and outsize shipments; for pharmaceuticals the carrier holds IATA CEIV Pharma certification and lists the temperature ranges FRO, COL, CRT and ERT.
