ASL Airlines (Ireland) Limited, trading as ASL Airlines Ireland, is an Irish cargo airline headquartered at Aviation House, 3 Malahide Road, Swords, County Dublin. The company belongs to ASL Aviation Holdings DAC, which groups its European air cargo operators under the ASL Airlines brand. Its business model is not the sale of cargo products to freight forwarders but the operation of freighter aircraft on behalf of third parties: ASL Airlines Ireland flies for global express integrators, postal networks and online retailers, and additionally offers ACMI, CMI, cargo charter and AOC management services. The company names FedEx, DHL, UPS and Amazon among its customers. According to its own figures (as of August 2026), ASL Airlines Ireland operates a fleet of 40 aircraft in seven types: Boeing 737-400, Boeing 737-800, Airbus A300-600, Airbus A330-300, ATR 72-200, ATR 72-500 and ATR 72-600. Two A330-300P2F aircraft were added to the operation. The company states a network of more than 50 regular destinations across Europe, North America and Asia. Dublin (DUB) is both the registered office and the main operational base; the company maintains its own light maintenance hangar at Shannon (SNN) and has aircraft and crew bases in ten European countries. The airline is IOSA registered. One distinction matters for forwarders: ASL Airlines Ireland does not normally act as the contracting air carrier towards the shipper. Consignments move under the air waybills of the contracting integrators and postal operators, and the company offers no shipment tracking of its own. IATA lists ASL Airlines Ireland with designator 5H, ICAO code ABR and airline code 914. Capacity is arranged through charter and ACMI contracts rather than agency sales.
