The customs status notification process refers to the standardized sequence of electronic messages exchanged between customs authorities and economic operators, whereby the current procedural or clearance status of a customs declaration or customs procedure (import, export, transit) is communicated. Its purpose is to provide continuous information on the receipt, validation, release, or any objections regarding the declaration.
