Straddle Carrier

A straddle carrier is a vehicle used at ports or intermodal yards that lifts, moves, and places ISO containers by straddling them, i.e., engaging the container from above and transporting it across the ground. It typically has a lifting mechanism and stabilizing legs or supports to hoist and carry the container.
