Roll-On Roll-Off Cargo Electrification refers to the process and infrastructure required to supply electric power to roll-on/roll-off shipping operations, including shoreside charging, on-board energy storage, and electrified cargo handling equipment, to reduce greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions associated with the transportation of wheeled cargo on RoRo vessels.
