The authorization by a carrier or freight forwarder to release a shipment to the consignee or their agent, typically after payment of charges or completion of required paperwork, allowing the goods to be picked up or delivered from the carrier’s custody at destination. It formalizes the release of the Delivery Order (DO) to enable fulfillment.
