The unloading process in logistics and transport encompasses all organizational and operational steps required to safely and efficiently remove goods from transport units (trucks, containers, railcars, aircraft). It includes docking and securing the vehicle, physically unloading the cargo, inspecting and sorting the items, and handing them over to warehouse or onward transportation.
