An outbound export customs declaration is the formal customs declaration of goods for export from a customs territory. The term ‘outbound’ indicates the direction: the export flow proceeds from the country of origin to a destination outside the customs territory. The declaration enables customs clearance, export controls, and the assessment or collection of duties and taxes where applicable.
