The national transit procedure (German: nationales Transitverfahren, nTV) is a Swiss customs procedure that allows uncleared goods to be moved under customs supervision within Switzerland from one customs office to another – for example from an inland customs office to a border customs office or between two border customs offices – without import duties (customs duty, VAT) becoming payable in the process.
