A procedure in inbound logistics where a carrier's trailer arriving at a recipient's facility is inspected upon arrival or before unloading to verify seal integrity, exterior and interior condition, accompanying documents, tare weight, and compliance with unloading/access requirements, and to confirm that the trailer is suitable for unloading.
