At the moment of import, a critical checkpoint occurs: the importer or their representative confirms receipt of goods. Import proof of delivery is the document that records this moment and evidences that imported goods have actually arrived and been accepted by the consignee. For customs clearance and payment release, this proof is often indispensable – without it, invoices cannot be processed and import duties cannot be properly tracked.
