EU Freight Corridor Development refers to the planning, establishment and enhancement of transnational rail freight corridors within the European Union. Its aim is to improve the efficiency, capacity, interoperability and sustainability of freight transport between Member States. Activities include infrastructure upgrades, standardisation of technical norms, digitalisation and stakeholder coordination to streamline cross-border freight flows.
