Until 24 July 2026, a blanket 10% baseline duty (Section 122, Trade Act 1974) applies to nearly all US imports — on top of MFN rates, Section 232 duties and the existing 7.5–25%+ Section 301 China tariffs. Replacement Section 301 duties of 10–12.5% on around 60 countries are proposed but not yet final. The earlier IEEPA "reciprocal tariffs" were struck down by the Supreme Court on 20 February 2026.
