Knocked-Down Freight Containerization is a logistics method in which standard shipping containers or packaging units are disassembled or collapsed into flat components before transport to optimize cargo space utilization, reduce shipping volume and costs, and facilitate handling and storage. At the destination, the containers or components are reassembled for use.
