Processing under customs control is a customs regime under which goods are temporarily imported and subjected to processing, refinement, or alteration under customs supervision. Duties and taxes are usually suspended during processing and become due upon release for free circulation or export, with the processed goods potentially re-exported or duties settled afterwards.
