An intermodal terminal congestion in the context of Combined Transport (KV). It is a delay or backlog at an intermodal terminal caused by capacity bottlenecks in handling, dwelling times, shunting and loading/unloading processes, or insufficient utilization of rail connections, leading to increased waiting times for trains, trucking, or containers and resulting in supply chain delays.
