In logistics and supply chain management, a technical escalation refers to the process of raising a technically complex issue (for example, equipment failure, IT system outage, or transport hardware malfunction) to higher-level technical support or specialized engineering teams to resolve it, typically after initial triage and containment attempts have failed. The goal is to restore operations quickly and minimize downtime by engaging the appropriate experts.
