A parameter or calculation basis stored within an enterprise resource planning (ERP) or transportation management system (TMS) for predicting or capturing the average time a shipment requires from goods issue to delivery at the recipient. The system takes into account all processing steps such as picking, packing, loading, transportation, and final delivery.
