The SAFE Framework of Standards is a World Customs Organization framework of security, safety, and facilitation standards for secure and efficient international supply chains. It sets out risk-management-based requirements, procedures for the secure movement of goods, mutual recognition of security measures (including the Authorized Economic Operator program), and enhanced cooperation among border agencies, customs, and the private sector to raise security and facilitate trade.
