A resilience index in logistics, supply chain, or transport is a quantitative measure that assesses a supply chain’s ability to anticipate, withstand, adapt to, and recover from disruptions, thereby maintaining or quickly restoring operations. Typical components include redundancy, flexibility, visibility, responsiveness, and recovery time.
