Pre-cooling facilities for perishable freight

A freight forwarder receives perishable cargo from a fruit producer and must rapidly remove field heat before the goods enter the reefer container: this is where pre-cooling facilities come into play – specialized installations with high cooling capacity that reduce freshly harvested produce (fruit, vegetables, cut flowers) to optimal storage temperature within hours or days.
