New Freight Chain Electrification Hubs are strategically located infrastructure nodes along major freight transport routes designed to facilitate the adoption of electric propulsion in heavy goods transport. They include charging stations, energy management systems, and in some cases battery-swapping facilities for trucks and other commercial vehicles, enabling seamless integration of electric transport into the supply chain.
