Quelle: https://www.porttechnology.org/news/near-dock-reefer-hub-electrification
Near-Dock Reefer Hub Electrification refers to the deployment of electrical power infrastructure at refrigerated container handling hubs located adjacent to vessel berths. It enables reefer containers to plug into shore power rather than diesel generators, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, noise and fuel consumption during pre- and post-shipment storage and handling.
