National Freight Chain Asset Digitization Programs are government-led initiatives designed to digitize physical freight assets—such as trucks, containers, warehouses, rail cars and terminals—within the national supply chain using digital technologies (e.g. IoT, RFID, blockchain, digital twins). Their objectives are to enhance visibility, operational efficiency, interoperability and real-time data sharing among all logistics stakeholders.
