National Cold Chain Infrastructure Modernization refers to the systematic process of upgrading, expanding and optimizing a country's temperature-controlled storage, transportation and distribution networks for temperature-sensitive goods (e.g. pharmaceuticals, vaccines, perishable foods). Its aims are to implement advanced technologies, enhance capacity, enforce quality standards and regulatory compliance to reduce spoilage and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
