National Freight Performance Benchmarking is a systematic process of measuring, comparing, and evaluating freight transport performance metrics (such as transport speed, reliability, cost, safety, environmental impact) across a national network or corridors in order to identify best practices, uncover performance gaps, and determine opportunities for improvement.
