National Cold Chain Asset Resilience Plans are strategic frameworks developed at the country level to assess, strengthen and maintain the reliability and continuity of cold chain infrastructure assets (such as refrigerated storage, transport equipment and monitoring devices) for perishable goods—notably vaccines and other temperature-sensitive products—ensuring their operation and integrity during disruptions such as natural disasters, power failures and other risks.
