Limited Quantity Packing Instructions are specific provisions in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations that allow the shipment of dangerous goods in small, quantity-limited consignments under simplified packaging, marking, and documentation conditions. They are indicated by the letter “Y” in the packing instruction column and apply only within the prescribed maximum quantities.
