Lagerkapazitätsflexibilisierung is the ability of a logistics system to adapt warehouse capacity flexibly to changing requirements. It includes steps to scale storage space, use modular racking systems, enable temporary capacity expansions, or outsource/reshore warehouse functions, in order to efficiently cope with seasonal fluctuations, demand spikes, supply disruptions, or changing order patterns.
