Node-Based Freight Congestion Prediction Models are analytical tools in logistics and transportation that partition a traffic or supply network into discrete nodes (e.g. terminals, ports, loading stations) and apply statistical or machine learning methods to historical, real-time and freight data to forecast the occurrence and severity of congestion or bottlenecks at those nodes.
