Jackknife Risk Prevention Systems are electronic safety systems installed on articulated vehicles (e.g. tractor-trailer combinations) that monitor vehicle dynamics parameters such as yaw rate, wheel speed, and steering angle and actively prevent a trailer from jackknifing by applying selective wheel braking or adjusting engine torque to maintain stability.
