In-line container scanning systems are automated non-intrusive inspection platforms installed along cargo handling lines to continuously scan sealed freight containers using imaging technologies (e.g., X-ray or gamma-ray) for prohibited or dangerous goods and customs or security violations without manual opening of the containers.
