Legal responsibility and liability that may arise when hot work activities (such as welding, cutting, grinding with sparks, or any operation generating heat or flame) are performed under an approved hot work permit. Includes who is liable (employer, contractor, safety officer) and for what, covering compliance with safety measures, permit release, training, and handover processes, as well as liability for injuries, damages, or fire risks arising from the work.
