A FAL data set is a standardized data model used in logistics to capture freight movement information to enable transparency, interoperability, and efficient handling across shippers, forwarders, carriers, and authorities. Typical fields include shipment ID, origin and destination, commodity code, weight, volume, dimensions, units, travel dates, and status information.
