Door-to-door temperature-controlled freight is a consignment-level transport order in which temperature-sensitive goods travel from the shipper's premises to the consignee's delivery point within a continuously maintained temperature range, with no breaks in the cold chain at transhipment points, modal transitions, or intermediate storage.
