Unlike flat-rate warehouse contracts, a cost-plus warehousing contract ties billing directly to actual operating costs: the client reimburses the warehouse operator for documented expenses (rent, labour, utilities, maintenance) plus a contractually specified markup representing the operator's profit margin.
