A Container Freight Station (CFS) is a specialized consolidation and deconsolidation facility, typically located at a port or inland hub, where less-than-container loads (LCL) from multiple shippers are grouped into full export containers or where inbound containers are unpacked into smaller individual consignments for delivery.
