Under the CAFTA-DR agreement, manufacturers of medical devices must demonstrate that their products were manufactured in one of the member countries (Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, USA) to qualify for preferential tariff rates.
