The Orderer's Declaration for Sea Freight is a written document by which the party ordering the transport (the orderer) formally communicates to the sea freight carrier or freight forwarder all specific details of their shipping instructions and specifies the transport characteristics (type of goods, quantity, packaging, ports of loading and discharge, Incoterms, special handling instructions).
