01Typical goods and risks
Examples: 5.1: ammonium nitrate, peroxides. 5.2: organic peroxides (BPO, MEKP).
Risks: Supports combustion even without atmospheric oxygen; 5.2 thermally unstable.
Before every shipment, conduct a risk assessment for the specific packaging, loading and routing combination — especially for tunnels, ferry passages and transit countries with special regimes.
02ADR — road transport

Required: transport document per 5.4.1 ADR, UN packaging codes, hazard labels and orange warning panel on the vehicle. Drivers need the ADR certificate (basic and, if applicable, specialisation courses).
03IMDG — sea freight

Notes such as "Stow away from living quarters" or the segregation group are defined in IMDG Code Part 7. Mandatory document: Dangerous Goods Declaration. Containers must be CSC-certified and stowed per the CTU Code.
04IATA — air freight
Viele 5.2 CAO oder verboten; Temperaturlimits beachten.
IATA DGR is updated annually — operators must verify the current yearly edition. Operator variations (OV) of individual airlines are binding. Shipper's declaration is mandatory and often available electronically (eDG).
