Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all visitors and registered users of the platform. By using the Service you agree to be bound by them.

2. Services

Freight-Academy provides information, tools (e.g. calculators, search) and a directory / matchmaking function for forwarders and shippers. The platform itself does not enter into carriage or forwarding contracts between users; it is solely an information and intermediation service.

3. Registration and User Account

Certain features require registration. You undertake to provide truthful information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. User Content

You retain the rights to the content you submit, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use it for operating and promoting the Service. Unlawful, misleading or infringing content is prohibited.

5. Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance and updates may temporarily limit the Service.

6. Liability

The platform and its content are maintained with utmost care. No warranty is given as to accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Liability of xbx gmbh is – to the extent permitted by law – limited to intent and gross negligence.

We assume no liability for third-party content (partner profiles, external links, user submissions). Contracts between users (e.g. forwarder and shipper) are concluded solely between them.

7. Paid Services

Where paid services (e.g. partner subscriptions) are offered, the respective order and pricing information as well as any separate terms shall apply additionally and will be made available before contract conclusion.

8. Termination

Users may delete their account at any time. We may suspend or delete accounts for breach of these Terms or applicable law.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms with effect for the future. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email or via the account.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Exclusive jurisdiction lies – to the extent legally permissible – with the courts of Liestal, Switzerland. Mandatory consumer protection rules at the user's domicile remain unaffected.
