Ewals Cargo Care acquires Vos Transport Group. This merger brings together two Dutch family-owned companies, both active in the European transport market.
For Ewals, this step is logical. Ewals has a strong position in European full loads, multimodal solutions, and large networks. Vos Transport Group primarily contributes experience in part loads, groupage, and regional transport solutions. Together, both companies aim to build a denser European network.
For customers, this means: more reach, more options, and hopefully more stable solutions and prices. Especially in today's market, characterized by a shortage of drivers, high costs, and numerous last-minute changes, a good network is crucial.
It is also important to note: The acquisition should not be confused with Vos Logistics. Vos Logistics is a different company and has been acquired by Jacky Perrenot. This is about Vos Transport Group.
The transaction is still subject to the usual antitrust approvals. Until then, daily operations are likely to remain unchanged.
