Key questions before choosing: Does the equipment fit the weight-to-volume ratio of my cargo? Are oversize dimensions (over-length, over-width) involved? How is the pallet stow optimised (1-0-1 or 2-1 pattern)?
03Booking, handling, stowage
Check for valid CSC plates, legible type markings and undamaged seals/doors. For reefers: verify set-point before take-over and a pre-trip inspection (PTI). For flat racks / open tops: use securing measures (lashing, dunnage) per the CTU Code.
