Certification of Logistics Providers is the formal process by which logistics service providers (e.g. carriers, freight forwarders, warehousing and distribution companies) are assessed by an independent authority and recognized as compliant with defined industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in areas such as quality management, safety, environmental management, information security, and/or risk management.
