A traffic-policy adjustment rule is a predefined rule by which transport policy measures (e.g., price adjustments, infrastructure priorities, subsidy programs) are automatically or criterion-based adjusted in response to changed conditions (demand, traffic volumes, external factors) to stabilize overarching transport-policy objectives (capacity, efficiency, environmental sustainability, safety).
