Terminal Layout Simulation
Quelle: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discrete_event_simulation
Terminal Layout Simulation is a computer-based method for modeling and analyzing the physical configuration of a terminal—such as a container, cargo, or airport terminal. Using discrete event or agent-based simulation, it replicates building layouts, traffic flows, and material handling systems to optimize performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, waiting times, and space utilization. The goal is to identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and support investment decisions.
