Millimeter-wave cargo inspection technology is a non-intrusive inspection method that uses millimeter-wave electromagnetic radiation (30–300 GHz) to scan and image cargo, containers, and vehicles. Its purpose is to detect concealed items, contraband, or anomalies without opening the conveyance.
